We rented a XL Van for furniture moving and was very happy with the service. The van was very new, low mileage and did a great job. The service from Ben was excellent answering all our questions via email before booking. I would definitely recommend and will be using them again in future

The Peugeot Expert SWB van was really nice to drive, carried all we needed it to carry, and was excellent value. Best of all was Ben who made hiring the van such a pleasant experience. He wasn't even put out by my eight part paper driving license! Will definitely use again.

Such a great company, I've had to EDIT my review from 2 years ago as apparently I'm not able to review again. Ben has been an amazing member of staff who has helped us out in a time of need. Having to extend the hire of two cars for the last 6-7 weeks due to another businesses mess around. He's been thoughtful and helpful when arranging dates for the vehicle and even booked out a week pre-empting us calling and asking for another extension. Really good prices and really nice vehicles. I will be shouting from the roof tops (or hill tops) about this company and for my vehicle needs i will forever use this company. Thank you, thank you, thank you you Ben were a life saver!!

Very good company. Everything was easy and straightforward and the price was almost half that of the others in the area. The deposit was only £200 compared to the others that were 4 times as much. The van was modern and spotlessly clean and the most important thing for us was the flexible times, which the other van rental places didn't offer ( we only wanted to pay for 24hour rental. It meant we had time to load the van with our stuff and drive the 2 hours to Surrey then come back the next morning without having to get it back at stupidly early hours. HIGHLY recommend!

Ben is always really friendly and helpful. Renting from Chilcompton Practical is so easy and I really appreciate how Ben goes the extra mile again and again (pardon the pun).

Have hired vans occasionally over the years and always had the sense that I’m being squeezed for every last penny. Totally different here - Ben runs an honest and friendly business where you feel you’re being looked after and helped as the customer. Have used them twice - both times excellent. Pretty rare in the uk these days to find such good honest and straightforward service. Would fully recommend and will use again.
